Following on from statements from the Prime Minister and Archbishops and Bishops of the Church of England yesterday we will be completely closed until further notice. Please note that you can contact us on our usual channels. ‘In accordance with the announcement of the Prime Minister yesterday and the latest government restrictions, St. Martin’s building will be completely closed until further notice. At St. Martin’s we fully endorse the statement issued by UK faith leaders yesterday, including the Archbishop of Canterbury: “As faith leaders in the UK we are united in our commitment to seeking the good of all especially in this time of crisis. In such a time our instinct is to gather as faith groups. We know, and affirm, that to do so at present is not only unwise but puts many lives at risk. We appeal again to all, please do not meet physically. Pray at home, share community online and by telephone, love and support

Worship at St. Martin in the Bull Ring Following on from the government’s health announcements on Monday, it has now been confirmed by the Archbishops that public worship should cease. So there will no acts of worship held at St. Martin in the Bull Ring until further notice. We are very sad at not being able to gather for worship but we must do everything we can to support our government and health services to address the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the advice of our Archbishops, at St. Martin in the Bull Ring our church building will remain open for prayer between 10am-4pm, and Sundays 9.30am till 1pm. we will be offering practical help and telephone support for those who are vulnerable and self-isolating to help keep us connected, and rooted in prayer and worship, St. Martin’s will be offering simple acts of worship which will be available on YouTube. further resources for prayer, worship and encouragement can be sourced from the Church of England website – https://www.churcho
