Courses
Whether you’re exploring Christianity, have recently become a Christian or have been a Christian for many years, we provide lots of opportunities that are suitable for everyone. Like stations on a train journey, you can stop at the one that is most appropriate for your needs at that time.
Who is Jesus?
This is a four week course looking at the Person of Jesus.
The sessions follow a very simple format allowing people to ask questions and to try and understand more of the real person of Jesus. The sessions cover the following topics:
- What do we know about Jesus?
- What did he say and do?
- Why did he come?
- What difference does he make to me?
This course is designed for people who are exploring the faith or who want to know more. It is not the final answer in all things about Jesus but it is a good place to start. Courses are run three times a year.
Growing Leaders
A course developed by the Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS) and one which is designed to help people grow in confidence in their own Christian leadership ability and to help discover their God given calling. This course is for those who are committed Christians and who are or who want to begin to be more involved in the life of St Martin‟s. The course runs from September to June.
If you are interested in finding out more about any of these courses, please speak to a member of the Clergy or contact the Parish Office.
