Who are playing at concerts coming up?
This week, 4th Oct, is a Piano recital by Dominic Mason. The 11th and 18th are concerts by the Birmingham Conservatiore. 25th October is Shulah Oliver (Violin) and Simon Marlow (piano) performing Beethoven – Sonata No.10 in G major Op.96 and Bacewicz – Oberek. We start November with Pete Stones on the Trombone (1st), Birmingham Conservatiore on the 8th, a keyboard performance on the 16th and on the 22nd Nov, which would have been Brittens Birthday, Jean McGowan will perform a solo viola recital including Bach and Britten to celebrate the later’s 100th anniversary year. The 29th November and 6th December will be performances by students from Birmingham Conservatiore. 13th December is mezzo soprano Stella Seaton-Sims and we finish the year with our Annual Christmas Concert, with conductor Gordon Thornett and Sutton Coldfield Chamber Choir and Bournville Strings, supporting St Martin’s and St Basils, working with young people at risk of becoming homeless. Hope that helps. I’ll post more details when I have them.
Is there a programme for the 2015 Lunchtime Concerts yet? Thanks
