Church opening times:

Sunday 9am-6pm (Open for Services)

Regular weekly Services
There are several different services that take place throughout the week consisting of many different
approaches to worship and prayer. Whatever your background or wherever you are on your spiritual
journey we hope that you will be able to find a type of service that helps you.

Sunday Services
9.30am Holy Communion A traditional service of Holy Communion with hymns
11am Morning Worship (with Communion on alternative weeks)

Come just as you are … but leave differently to how you were. The Crossing is a modern service of worship.
The congregation of St Martin’s Crossing Service forms a kaleidoscope of people from extremely diverse backgrounds. This is both a blessing and a challenge. Our aim is always to enable people, at whatever stage of their Christian faith journey, to meet with God in a way that’s relevant to their lives. We use rich sources of Christian music: traditional hymns; Taizé chants; modern worship songs; new, in-house songs; and world music and spend much time in prayerful thought to match words and music to each services’ theme; always seeking creative ways to express and keep fresh our Christian faith journeys. Lively, varied and creative worship in a more modern style. Above all, we seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance and inspiration to infuse readings, prayers, sermons and music with His presence, so that people not only know the highest joys of praise, but also experience the holy intimacy of meditation and adoration. “Music is the language of the soul”: we believe worship music helps us meet with God.

Activities for all kids During the 11am Sunday service – this is announced just after the service starts:
